Perfect for families, the Family Picnic mirrors the Premium Picnic (up to 6 people). Here’s how it’s tailored for adults and children under 9 (For children aged 3 to 8):
- Chic, styled tableware and cutlery, paired with luxurious décor including table runners, plush cushions, and opulent settings
For Adults:
- Same as Premium Picnic: Fruits, brownies, nuts, and savoury snacks
- Take-Home Handmade Cookie: Chocolate almond or a random flavour, beautifully packaged
For Children (Under 11):
- Three Shared Varieties: Fruits, nuts, and savoury snacks
- Brownie Substitute: A child-friendly apple pie instead of brownies
- Special Treat: A single-serve snack pack
Welcome Drinks:
- Adults: Same as Premium Picnic (served in champagne flutes)
- Children: A refreshing apple juice in a bottle

Scenic Stop: Riverside Views
Pause for 10 minutes in front of The Star Brisbane at Queen’s Wharf. Soak in the breath-taking riverside views while enjoying the option to order refreshing cocktails or beverages, adding a touch of indulgence to your journey.
Return: New Farm Park River Hub
End your journey with a serene cruise back to New Farm Park River Hub. Soak in the tranquil ambiance and admire the breath-taking sights of the Brisbane River as your experience draws to a close.
Pickup Locations: New Farm Park River Hub: Upon arrival at New Farm, there may be a long queue for other boats. Floating Picnic guests do not need to wait in line and can proceed directly to our designated boat for boarding

For safety reasons, the maximum capacity of the boat is limited to 6 passengers, regardless of age. Children under 2 years old may board for free but are still counted as 1 passenger toward the total capacity.

Our menu items may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including nuts, dairy (milk and cheese), and fresh fruits such as peaches, grapes, cherries, strawberries, and other varieties. If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, please inform us in advance to ensure your safety and enjoyment.
1. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations Made More than 60 Days Prior to the Booking Date:
A full refund will be provided. -
Cancellations Made Within 60 Days of the Booking Date:
A 50% cancellation fee will apply. -
Cancellations Made Within 30 Days of the Booking Date:
A 75% cancellation fee will apply. -
Cancellations Made Within 14 Days of the Booking Date:
A 100% cancellation fee will apply. -
Rescheduling:
Rescheduling requests made more than 14 days prior to the booking date will be accommodated, subject to availability. - Except in cases of natural disasters, refunds are not available. Instead, a credit for rescheduling will be provided.
2. Weather Policy:
- Floating Picnic experiences will proceed as scheduled in light or moderate weather conditions. Severe weather may lead to rescheduling at no additional cost.
- All weather-related rescheduling decisions are determined by Floating Picnic management to ensure guest safety.
- If a customer wishes to cancel due to weather concerns, the standard cancellation policy* applies.
3. Alcohol Policy:
- Guests are not allowed to bring additional alcoholic beverages onboard. Floating Picnic offers a selection of alcoholic drinks available for purchase.
- Alcohol consumption should be responsible; the crew reserves the right to end the experience without refund if behaviour is unsafe or disruptive.
